The barrio is many things. But above all, the barrio is its people.

Mi voz, mi barrio у mi gente is a spatial photographic installation that explores the identity of Petare, Caracas, Venezuela, through the lenses some memeber of Zona de Descarga, a nonprofit cultural platform rooted in Petare that celebrates the barrio's own resources while cultivating a creative, safe, and empowering environment for its community. In their work, they ask: what does it mean to be from Petare? Together, they imagine what it can become.

The installation took place on 04-04-26 at Posibilities Open Studio in Centrale Markthal , in a fund raising event organized by Carmela collective.
